Talent Pool - Senior Deepwater Drilling Supervisor - Rio de Janeiro/RJ

Responsible for all related matters throughout the well planning and construction.

1. Keep drilling management advised on progress of drilling activities;
2. Approve manifests for the movement of personnel and materials to and from the rig ensuring they are done in a timely manner;
3. Coordinate all necessary permitting requirements;
4. Enforce operational, safety, and environmental policies and procedures;
5. Ensure that all well documentation is organized during and at the end of drilling operations;
6. Mentoring junior drilling engineer & night drilling supervisors at the wellsite;
7. Reports to Wells Drilling Superintendent.

Skills/Knowledge:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as Senior Drilling Supervisor for operating companies.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as Senior Deepwater Drilling Supervisor on deepwater wells >1800m.
• Experienced in drilling extensive carbonate sections.
• Computer literate in Microsoft office and Landmark reporting programs.
• Knowledgeable in MPD, PMCD operations.
• Well versed in drilling presalt wells.
• Current IWCF Level 4 Surface/Subsea certification.
• Current OGUK medical or another Petronas approved medical.
• Valid BOSIET
• Proven history of ability to work comfortably within multicultural teams
• Fluent in the English language.
